Started in 1987 by musician, teacher, and music industry professional David French, David French Music is committed to providing quality, affordable musical instruments and personalized service to students and teachers in public and private school music programs.
David started his company after seeing students discouraged about learning to play an musical instrument as they struggled with inadequate "hand-me-down" or poorly-maintained instruments. It seemed obvious to David that students would be more likely to continue their music studies if they were able to use better quality, well-maintained instruments that were a pleasure to play instead of a struggle.
David's theory has been proven by research, and over the years the company has grown -- now owned by David's son, Eric, and his wife, Michelle. David French Music continues to provide reliable, affordable, brand-name musical instruments and accessories, personalized service, and the expertise to help music students of all abilities reach their goals. We look forward to serving you.

David French Music has been a family owned business since 1987.
What is your primary product or service?
Our primary goal is to offer the musicians of Massachusetts with the best service they can find. Our shop offers instrument rentals, an in-house repair shop, professional music lessons and a conveniently located retail store.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
David French Music is different because we pride ourselves in our customer service. Our friendly staff are always willing to go the extra mile to help you however we can. We also have 3 full time road representatives who visit our supported school systems every week during the school year. Talk about service!
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Currently we have one location, but we make weekly visits during the school year to any of our support school systems.
